Birth Dates::

  • U5/U6: August 1, 2020-July 31, 2022
  • U7/U8: August 1, 2018-July 31, 2020
  • U9/U10: August 1, 2016-July 31, 2018

Cost: $125

Program Overview:

The FC Dulles REC Academy introduces players to our Grassroots Curriculum, with a focus on:

  • Dribbling, passing, and receiving

  • Shooting and finishing

  • Basic attacking and defending tactics

  • Sessions focus on play to encourage creativity and development through game-like situations. "The Game is the best teacher"

Players are generally grouped according to age: U5/U6, U7/U8, and U9/U10 group.

Players meet 2 times per week on Fridays and Saturdays for 7 weeks and will be evaluated for potential placement on future FC Dulles competitive travel teams.

What’s Included:

  • 7 weeks of Friday Free Play (Starts Sept. 11, 2026)

  • 7 weeks of Saturday REC Jamboree games (starts Sept. 12, 2026)

  • End-of-season closing ceremony and awards

  • Coaches who are licensed, certified in SafeSport and have up-to-date background checks

  • TeamSnap account for communication and scheduling

  • FC Dulles practice t-shirt

  • VYSA Membership

  • Fairfax County Field User Fee (players residing outside of Fairfax County will are required to pay the Fairfax County Out-of-County Field user fee of $50)

  • Soccer Ball. Coaches will hold onto the balls until the last session and distributed at closing ceremonies

Field Locations and Times:

  • Fridays, 6:00-7:00 PM: Poplar Tree Park #2 – 4718 Stringfellow Rd, Chantilly, VA 20151

  • Saturdays, 10:00-11:00 AM: Franklin MS3 (Back field next to the basketball courts) – 3300 Lees Corner Rd, Chantilly, VA 20151. (We will likely shift to Poplar Tree 2 from 2:15-3:15 PM starting in mid-October.) 

Not Included (Additional Fees Apply):

  • Uniform Kit: $75

  • Extra FC Dulles Practice Shirts: $18 each

  • Player equipment: cleats (recommended), shin guards (required), water bottle

  • 10% Early Bird (by July 15)

  • 20% Sibling Discount (applies to other REC/Grassroots programs only)

*Dates, times, and field locations are subject to change based on coaches schedules and field availability. 
**Uniform kits and practice t-shirts will be distributed at the first practice session. 
***Age groups may be combined depending on enrollment and coach availability
